Alexandra Abreu

Alexandra Abreu is a dedicated advocate with a strong commitment to the bleeding disorders community. Her primary focus lies in raising awareness of health inequities and collaborating on innovative solutions to enhance the health and well-being of marginalized communities. With a background in international social work, Alexandra began her career working with immigrants and refugees across a diverse range of geographies, including the United States, Central America, and the Middle East.

At Save One Life, Alexandra's dedication to the bleeding disorders community finds its truest expression. Her multifaceted career spans across the non-profit and private sectors, starting  as a Program Coordinator and Project Manager at a national health advocacy organization committed to advancing racial justice and health equity in the United States. A pivotal point in her journey was when she had the privilege of collaborating with BelieveLimited on special projects aimed at creating content for the bleeding disorder community with a focus on DE&I.  From there, she made the transition to her current role in the pharmaceutical industry, where she directly supports individuals with hemophilia. 

Alexandra holds a Masters in International Social Work from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Latin American & Caribbean Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz. With a wealth of experience, a deep passion for advocacy work, and a profound commitment to making a positive impact, Alexandra remains steadfast in her pursuit to drive transformational change and uplift the voices of vulnerable communities.
