Our grants make it possible for program partners to offer camps to their members—fostering camaraderie and social inclusion, life skills such as self-infusion and good fun! Camps create memories that can transform a life. For some campers, this may be the only time in a year they receive prophylactic treatment. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $3,000.

Since 2008 we have invested almost $100,000 for 40 camps.

"We are very grateful to Save One Life for your support. Our members had a really good time! They were so happy to have the chance to participate in new activities that they had never imagined possible for themselves, or were afraid would cause a bleed. But they bravely embraced the possibility of pain and joined in regardless. Most of us did bleed after the activities but we still managed to be happy for the sake of our brotherhood! As the leader who sees all the difficulties and struggles of our group, I was so touched to see campers enjoying every moment of the day. Despite bleeds we were able to laugh and move on. We are already looking forward to camp again next year!"

"On behalf  of the entire Nigerian community of persons with bleeding disorders and their families, I will like to extend our appreciation to Save One Life for your continuous sponsorship of our camp for 5 consecutive years. This support has made it possible for HFN to continue to educate our community in a fun learning environment."
