I'm Panagiotis Christoforou, but you can call me Panos. At 31, I've navigated life with a diagnosis of severe Haemophilia A since the age of 2. Growing up in a place with limited resources and expertise, my brother and I faced the challenges of managing our conditions. These experiences led me to a decision—to pursue a career in medicine as a Haematologist. My goal is straightforward: to ensure that people with Haemophilia and other rare bleeding disorders receive the right diagnosis and appropriate treatment for a healthier life. I volunteer with the Greek Haemophilia Society, advocating for patient rights. Outside of my work, I enjoy hiking and mountaineering as a means to stay physically and mentally fit. It's more than a pastime; it's a way of life that complements my commitment to health. In essence, I'm on a mission to make a positive impact in the lives of those dealing with similar health challenges. Through practical actions and advocacy, I aim to contribute to a healthcare landscape where everyone has access to the care they need.
