More than five years later, I’m amazed everyday by what is actually possible! We chose to believe that sports, instead of being a threat is actually part of a successful treatment strategy. Treatment is key and so does muscular and mental development through physical activity.
Fear of injury cannot be the main driver of our kids life. We are lucky to be living in a new era for hemophiliacs. Information must flow to the community, doctors and patients have to be aware of the new reality. Kids shouldn't be afraid of their own dreams.
My quest is to spread the word that what was once the worst enemy of the community might be the best ally for the years to come.
