My Story

This is Priyan. He is 12 years old and in the 7th grade. His favorite subject is English, and dreams to one day become a pilot and soar across the world. Outside of school, he likes to play soccer and spend time with his friends.

He has been diagnosed with severe hemophilia A, and has recently experienced bleeds in his ankles and knees. Thankfully, the damage is not permanent and he is able to recover after receiving factor treatment.

He lives at home with his parents and older brother. His father works as a driver and his mother stays at home to care for the household. They speak Malayalam at home, but can read and write a little bit in English. The family lives off of $150 a month. Your sponsorship funds would go towards Priyan's education and treatment.

His family rents a three-room house in the village of Mala, India. The home is made of concrete and has electricity, running water, an indoor toilet, and a refrigerator. Priyan's family cooks our meals on a gas burner. We have kept our home in good condition.
