Ambassador Spotlight: Daniel Cruz
Daniel Cruz has been involved with the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California since childhood. He credits the knowledge, support, and sense of community he found there with helping him successfully manage his bleeding disorder.
His gratitude is deepened by the recognition that his life could have been very different had his family remained in San Juan Teitipac, a small village outside Oaxaca, Mexico. He would have faced hours of travel to reach the nearest treatment center, and his family might have endured
cultural stigmas such as being viewed as cursed or judged for having more children.
These realities, combined with Daniel’s belief in Save One Life’s mission of providing financial assistance directly to families, inspired him to become a Save One Life Ambassador. He hopes to build networks of connections, resources, and support so that individuals and families living with bleeding disorders know they are not alone, feel empowered to ask for help, and find strength in community.
We are excited about Daniel’s accomplishments as an Ambassador his first year and look forward to the his continued efforts to improving the lives of families around the world.
Thank you, Sanofi, for believing in and supporting the Save One Life Ambassador Program!
