Ambassador Spotlight: Naomi Giron
Meet Save One Life Ambassador Naomi Giron
Save One Life is proud to introduce Naomi Giron as one of our U.S. Ambassadors. Naomi's connection to the bleeding disorders community began in childhood, attending conferences with her family because her father has hemophilia. After learning that she has hemophilia too, she became deeply committed to advocating for others; especially women because she is aware that an early diagnosis and treatment is not the norm.
She has volunteered at local chapter events, served as a camp counselor, participated in legislative advocacy and recorded a podcast with HOPE for Hemophilia. Her desire to work closely with Save One Life is twofold. She wants to show the young adults in the community that they can make a difference in the lives of others, and she wants to instill hope in global families by showing them they are not alone.
In the spirit of inclusiveness, Naomi is majoring in communications and minoring in Spanish because she wants to help Spanish-speaking families in the community locate available resources and understand their rights as healthcare consumers. In other words, she wants to create change in the bleeding disorders community, one life at a time.
