Save One Life at NBDF's Bleeding Disorders Conference 2026

This August, Save One Life had the opportunity to connect with members of the bleeding disorders community at the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) Bleeding Disorders Conference in Orlando, Florida. From celebrating our 25th anniversary to welcoming new ambassadors, meeting with our board, and connecting with supporters at our booth, it was a meaningful few days filled with connection, celebration, and excitement for the future.

Celebrating 25 Years

As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, we hosted a special evening that brought together more than 80 guests, including donors, board members, volunteer ambassadors, company partners who have supported us throughout the years, and many friends of Save One Life. It was an incredible opportunity to reflect on 25 years of impact and, most importantly, the lives and communities we have impacted along the way. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the Save One Life journey and helped make this work possible. A special thank you to Sanofi, Bayer, and Takeda for supporting our anniversary celebration and helping make this milestone so special.

Ambassador Training

We also held an ambassador training for new volunteers entering the Save One Life Ambassador Program. Our ambassadors play an important role in sharing our mission, raising awareness about bleeding disorders around the world, and helping connect their communities with Save One Life. The training introduced new ambassadors to our programs and mission and provided them with the information and resources they need to represent Save One Life in their communities. Thank you to Sanofi for their support of our Ambassador Program.

Connecting With the Community

The conference also provided valuable opportunities for Save One Life to connect with our community. Our board of directors held a meeting during the conference, and staff, ambassadors, partners, donors, and friends had opportunities to meet and share ideas throughout the week. We are grateful to everyone who stopped by the Save One Life booth to learn more about our programs, ask questions, and connect with our team. A special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help at our booth throughout the conference!

NBDF Matching Program

We are also incredibly grateful to NBDF and its chapters for partnering with us on a special matching program. For every child sponsored by a participating chapter, NBDF will sponsor another child. So far, this partnership has resulted in 15 additional children being sponsored! Even more exciting, when a community member sponsors a child through their local chapter, that sponsorship can count toward the match as well, doubling the impact of their support.

As part of the conference, we were proud to recognize and award each chapter that partners with Save One Life by sponsoring a child. We are grateful for their commitment to helping children and families affected by bleeding disorders around the world.
