Erik Andersson

As you know my name is Erik Andersson, Haemophilia A - Severe. I am a traveller and explorer and belong in nature. Its my natural meditation just being there. I like cycling, fishing and would love pets, always had pets when i was younger. But unfortunately as a traveller pets will have to be put on hold. Sports is another interest and foraging can be a seasonal hobby (mushrooms and berries). And do i love mountains, the view, wind and the fresh air. Trekking next to the clouds. I have spent time working in several countries, trying to combine work with a healthy and free lifestyle.

I was not always open to the world though. I started out as a shy boy who could as easily have been a stay at home of sorts. But i was also rebellious which i guess prompted me to change in a way. Cause when you have Haemophilia you are at risk of being overly protected. Not allowed to attend, not allowed to participate. So i was forced to open up and connect, prove myself in any activity where my friends have had better access. And it shaped me in a good way. I am now 37, i am not at home yet i dont feel away.

 

I hope in participating in this project that i can be of assistance and to inspire future generations to explore cause there is so much to experience and hopefully, whether you are born with Haemophilia or not, you will be able to
