This is Gaza. He is 15 years old and in the 9th grade. His favorite subject is math. Outside of school, he likes to play soccer, watch TV, and spend time with his friends. He would like to become a barber when he grows up.
He has severe hemophilia A. He recently had a bleed in his knee that required treatment at the hospital, which is 75 miles away. When he needs a factor infusion, he goes with his mother to the Angkor Hospital for children. Gaza is blind in his right eye, which can make school difficult at times.
Gaza and his mother
Gaza lives at home with his mother and younger brother. His parents are divorced and he does not have much contact with his father. His mother works as a housekeeper. The family lives off of $150 a month. They live in a tin home in a village outside of Siem Reap. Your sponsorship funds would help to pay for Gaza's education and treatment
